General information about propaganda in political advertisements

I will be giving examples of different types of political propaganda in advertisements used in a variety of elections across the nation in 2013. There are seven categories for propaganda used in by politicians as they fight for office. 

1. Plain Folks- like Joe the Plumber 

2. Bandwagon- let's all hop on! 

3. Card stacking- manipulation of facts  

4. Name calling- the name game 

5. Testimonial- Endorsement by celebrities  

6. Glittering generality- my big broad claims

7. Transfer- a action that supports a cause- but at the same time boosts my image!
